Terms and Conditions
PAYMENT – A deposit of $200.00 of the total amount is due at the signing of our contract in order to secure your date. You may arrange to pay the balance of $200.00 prior to your event, or you may elect to pay the balance in full before the start of our performance on the date and time specified on the contract.
OUTDOORS – We will gladly play outdoors in favorable weather conditions and with proper shelter provisions. No direct exposure to any combination of temperatures below 65 or above 90 degrees, winds exceeding 20mph, extreme sunlight or humidity, rain, sleet, or snow. Because unpredictable weather conditions can also result in an unpleasant outdoor experience for your guests, we also recommend a “Plan B” for the service to redirected indoors, if necessary.
REPERTOIRE – Musical selections are to be made only from our El Paso String Quartet Repertoire List.
SPACE – We require a space of 10 x 10 square feet to enable us to provide you with the best possible performance. The space also needs to be free of any pedestrian traffic.
EQUIPMENT & LIGHTING – We need four chairs with no arms and adequate lighting to read our music (something similar to reading a book).
BREAKS – We will play for 1 hour, then take a 10 minute break for an engagement that requires two or more hours performance time. This ensures that we sound our best and helps us avoid sustaining any injuries.
REHEARSAL – It has been our experience that our attendance at the wedding rehearsal is not necessary.
CANCELLATION – Deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
CONCERT ATTIRE – We customarily wear concert black with an occasional accent color.
